Railroad Museum of Long Island

Twin Forks has worked closely with RMLI since our inception. One of our most cherished projects with the museum has been the on-going restoration of ex-LIRR RS-3 #1556. We also share many members with RMLI and our Jordan Spreader is displayed along with RMLIs' equipment. Twin Forks participates in the RMLI railfest every August. We are proud to work along side this fantastic organization in our common goal to promote and preserve Long Island railroading history!

Friends of Locomotive #35

Twin Forks is proud to have Friends of Locomotive #35 as members. Friends of #35 are located in Oyster Bay and have worked closely with RMLI and Twin Forks over the years. We'd like to thank Friends of #35 for their recent donation of brake shoes and a switchstand to the chapter which were made available once they took possession of their new location in Oyster Bay. Friends of #35 was also instrumental in helping us to obtain Caboose #1 and we are forever greatful for their assistance!
